My experience was excellent as always! I went in to have a small cavity filled in a upper tooth. Before he started numbing the area, I told Dr Holland I thought the tooth was beginning to get loose and hurt some when I bit down on food. The bite down caused pressure on it, making it feel sore in my gum area. So he took a new xray of it, and could tell that it would press down on my jaw bone causing the discomfort when I was chewing on that side of my mouth. So, he decided to not fill the cavity as he had planned, but ground off a little of the tooth. Hopefully, the extra space between the upper and lower teeth would not put as much pressure on the upper tooth, allowing my gum and bone to stop hurting and heal. He wants the tooth to be solid and stable, before he fills the cavity. That is one of his special character traits that I admire. He is willing to check out what is happening and change course in the treatment plan if it is better for the patient. And the staff and dentist are so pleasant to work with as I have said before.

Returned to Mt Pisgah Family Dental because of the gentle professional care they provide to their patients. I was not disappointed. My most recent experience confirmed that my return to Mt Pisgah Family Dental was the right thing to do. My appointment was cancelled the day I was to go in for a cleaning because the hygienist was out sick that morning; however, within a few hours I was rescheduled for an appointment later that same week, and, again, the hygienist was very gentle while cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office.

All staff are friendly and professional. State of the art equipment is the standard.
